Why this setup?

The J6CR is one of the lightest elongated paddles available. Stock, its balance can feel a little unusual on groundstrokes because of how light it is. The goal here was to improve balance, add a bit more forgiveness, and keep its lightweight feel intact. It didn't need a major stability upgrade since the sweet spot is already good, even light. Just enough to true up the sweet spot and enough weight to make it feel more natural, especially for an elongated shape. The 2g placed higher increases swing weight and adds mass above the balance point for better plow-through and a more familiar elongated feel. The 1g placed lower boosts twist weight and improves forgiveness on off-center hits which works in tandem with the higher weight to give a full face sweet spot feel.
